Emery Mukendi Wafwana & Associés (CABEMERY) is a firm of lawyers and attorneys established in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Created in 1995 on the initiative of Mr. Emery Mukendi Wafwana, an attorney registered at the bar of Kinshasa-Gombe, the firm is headquartered in Kinshasa/Gombe (DRC capital). It employs lawyers and attorneys licenced in various bars in the DRC (Kinshasa/Gombe, Kinshasa/Matete, Bas-Congo, Bandundu, Mbandaka and Lubumbashi) and has branch offices in Lubumbashi (mining city) and Matadi (port city). It also maintains a business relationship with, and outsources some of its activities to, a network of competent and renowned lawyers and law firms working in the various areas of law which the firm specializes in, such as legal counseling, legal representation and litigation.

The lawyers and attorneys practicing within Cabemery are members of international legal and commercial organizations such as the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), the International Bar Association (IBA), the Association of European Attorneys (AEA), the International Law Firm, SADC Lawyer’s Association, and participate in the activities of said organizations. They further contribute to the production of legal doctrine through their various publications.
