In the area of air transport, Cabemery advises and assists its clients in the procedures necessary for obtaining a license to operate a public transport air services business and to employ related labor, applying for traffic rights, securing a permit to import aircrafts, building authorized private air strips, securing or renewing navigation permits, registering and licensing aircraft radio equipment, and, for aircrafts not registered in the DRC, obtaining authorization to fly over the national territory.

The Firm advises and assists its clients in the conclusion of aircraft sales, chartering and leasing agreements both in the DRC as well as abroad. It also actively intervenes in the disputes around “air responsibility”. Cabemery offers outstanding legal support to its clients in the incorporation of their maritime and/or fluvial transport companies as well as in the settlement of disputes among ship-owners and disputes between the latter and their personnel and clients. The Firm also assists its clients in negotiations for ship purchases or chartering.
