Cabemery advises and assists its clients in various legal matters relating to the status of persons, marital regimes, successions and gifts, and acquisition of Congolese citizenship. In particular, the Firm advises and assists the notary services of a number of embassies and consular missions established in the DRC in the assessment of the legality and authenticity of marital status certificates as well as other documents issued by the nation’s administrative and judiciary authorities. Further, Cabemery provides counsel and assistance to its clients in real estate transactions as well as in the transfer and securing of land ownership deeds and real estate titles with the appropriate conservation registries.

Also, Cabemery drafts and negotiates, on behalf of its clients, contracts of any type, including lease as well as other types of agreements such as sales, rental, loan, mortgage, securities and deposit agreements. The Firm also specializes in the drafting of contracts not expressly covered in the current Congolese legislation.
